Work Conditions

Shift based position with 14 days on and 7 days off, working 11 hours per day Benefits are provided through CLAC such as health, dental, vision plans, life and disability coverages, comprehensive retirement plans, family support benefits, mental health and wellness resources, and more Experienced applicants that reside in Kitimat or surrounding areas will be considered due to the location of this project This is a short term position

Essential Responsibilities

Traffic Control Effectively and safely complete general labour duties. Manage dewatering systems and associated piping to support the operation of sediment ponds. Manage and maintain sediment fences, wattles, berms, poly liners, and other erosion and sediment control measures. Support the installation and upkeep of infrastructure in alignment with environmental compliance standards. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervision to support project needs, recognizing that priorities and scopes may shift.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience as a general labourer in a heavy civil or industrial setting Physically fit with the ability to lift 50 lbs Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driver's abstract CSTS -2020 Must be local to the area

Compensation


$24.56 - $37.55 per hour
This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.


Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
