Paradox Access Solutions is seeking Skilled Earthworks Labouers to join our team!JOB TYPE: Full-time, SeasonalWAGE: $18.00 to $25.00 per HourLOCATION: Acheson, AB with multiple projects in Western CanadaYOUR NEXT CHALLENGEReporting to the Project Superintendent, a Skilled Labourer is responsible for handling numerous workplace responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency. A Skilled Labourer must be able to lift and carry heavy objects repeatedly and for prolonged periods of time.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES & IMPACTPerform tasks involving physical labour at construction sitesWide experience in a variety of types of physical labourRobust physical stamina for performing strenuous and repetitive tasksClean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations and general cleanup of debris and other waste materialsSignal heavy equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities Load, unload or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations according to project plans or specificationsMeasure, mark or record openings or distances to areas where construction work will be performed Provides assistance to other craft workersWork in adherence to Occupational Health and Safety legislationOther duties may be assigned as requiredREQUIREMENTS: Valid CSTS, H2S, First Aid & CPR, and OSSA certificationsGeneral knowledge of raking, shoveling, housekeeping, etc.Knowledge of the safe operation of basic hand and power tools Knowledge of workplace safety policies and procedures including safe lifting and handlingEffective verbal and listening communication skillsDemonstrate sound work ethicsPhysically able to perform job dutiesAbility to pass Drug, Alcohol and 50lb Fitness to work test WHO WE ARE:Paradox Access Solutions is an established industry leader in Western Canada, setting a new standard for day-to-day business operations.
