Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, and concrete finishing. This role involves performing a wide range of construction tasks, interpreting schematics and blueprints, and operating heavy equipment. The Skilled Laborer will play a vital part in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute project requirements accurately Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and tile laying to meet project specifications Install cabinetry, flooring, and drywall as needed for various projects Perform caulking, painting, and restoration work to maintain quality standards Conduct masonry work including bricklaying and concrete work Support electrical and plumbing installations following safety protocols Estimate materials and labor needs for assigned tasks Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements

Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of carpentry, masonry, electrical systems, plumbing, or related trades Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and tile installation is preferred Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions Physical capability to lift heavy materials and perform strenuous activities for extended periods Valid (or relevant certification/license) is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $19.89-$32.62 per hour
