Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction and renovation, including carpentry, concrete work, electrical, plumbing, and masonry. This role involves performing a wide range of tasks to support project completion efficiently and safely. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a broad skill set to contribute to high-quality craftsmanship and project success.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute project plans accurately. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and effectively. Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and tile laying to ensure durable and precise results. Install cabinets, flooring, and other fixtures with attention to detail and quality standards. Perform caulking, painting, restoration work, and other finishing tasks to meet project specifications. Support electrical and plumbing installations by following schematics and safety protocols. Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials according to project requirements. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating preferred. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, masonry techniques, carpentry, concrete finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work, plumbing, restoration, and cabinetry installation is highly desirable. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required. Strong understanding of safety procedures in construction environments. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various tasks quickly. Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in different weather conditions. Valid license or relevant certifications are a plus but not mandatory. Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
