Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks including fixing leaks, repairing fixtures, and replacing worn-out parts across the facility Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues early and address them promptly Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical problems accurately and safely Assist with installation of new equipment or fixtures, ensuring proper setup and functionality Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and tracking purposes Respond quickly to urgent repair needs to minimize downtime and disruptions Collaborate with team members to plan maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks effectively

Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience in general maintenance or repair work in commercial or residential settings Proficiency with electrical testing tools, especially an ohmmeter, for diagnosing electrical issues Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities Ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks safely Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and HVAC is preferred A positive attitude combined with a commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship
