GreenGold Construction Limited is the GTA's most exclusive construction management firm. We are seeking a

Carpenter/Skilled Handyman

to join our growing and dynamic team.

As a Carpenter/Skilled Handyman in our Company, your main focus is to execute tasks given to you by Site Supervisors. As a team member, you must maintain a safe work environment and show professionalism at all times, to enhance and maintain our Company standards. This is a hands-on position and requires extensive knowledge in residential construction.

Tasks and duties:

have knowledge of construction terminology and practices.

build hoarding fences and TPZs as per instruction.

frame guard rails, temporary stairs, floors and walls.

prep for and install windows and doors.

install and repair drywall, tape and plaster as necessary.

work with wood and metal framing materials.

install T-bars and dropped ceilings.

understand the different types of (and requirements for all finishes) (ie. hardwood, stone, tile etc.)

demolish/remove old or incorrect structures as necessary.

Skills and qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of Residential construction experience.

Ability to read and work from building plans, with a working knowledge of the OBC and OHSA.

Have your own vehicle and basic power tools.

Proficiency in a residential construction and renovations industry with a broad general experience in all facets of the building process.
