Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and Skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a diverse skill set in construction tasks. This role is essential for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. The Skilled Construction Laborer will work closely with various teams to assist in a range of construction-related activities.

Duties

Perform various construction tasks including framing, demolition, and metal cladding installation. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute project specifications accurately. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks. Restore and maintain existing structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. Conduct routine inspections of work areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.

Experience

Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with the building process is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is an asset. Experience in carpentry, framing, and/or metal cladding is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role. A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work is required.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
