Responsibilities:

Prepare construction sites, materials and tools by setting up as per safety protocols to protect workers and the public. Understanding structural layouts by reading and understanding blueprints. Sorting, removing and properly disposing of debris including separating materials for recycle and waste Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries, including proper handling and storage of equipment and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues that may arise during the demolition/abatement processes. Clearing the site to prepare for the next step in the construction process.
Requirements:

Proven experience in skilled labour or construction-related field is preferred Preference will be given to candidates that are willing to work out of town on occasion. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools required. Ability to effectively communicate with the team and perform all duties in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform & First Aid tickets are considered an asset, but not mandatory. Ability to operate equipment is considered an asset Ability to read and understand blueprints is considered an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
