Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled construction laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction tasks and the ability to work collaboratively on diverse projects. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Apply caulking and perform construction painting to finish surfaces professionally. Prepare bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units, Place steel reinforcing and grout in cavities or cores to build external walls Remove and replace existing masonry work for alterations or restorations Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment. Grinding and cutting masonry. Prepare and mix mortar or other bonding agents as needed for masonry work. Apply caulking or sealants to ensure weatherproofing of structures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or skilled labor roles. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while demonstrating excellent communication skills. Need to be comfortable working at heights on scaffolding or swing stage. Need own hand tools and steel toed boots. Need own transportation Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
