We're seeking a

Skilled Carpenter (Framer / Rough Carpenter)

to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for an experienced carpenter who can deliver accurate, safe, and efficient

wood framing

for residential construction projects across the GTA.

Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of

wood framing

: walls, floors, roofs, and structural components Read and interpret

blueprints, drawings, and layout plans

Cut, shape, and assemble lumber and materials using hand tools, power tools, and framing equipment Ensure work meets

Ontario Building Code, safety standards, and MGB quality requirements

Assist with layout, squaring, shoring, and bracing on site Work collaboratively with other trades and site supervisors to meet deadlines Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site Report material shortages, design concerns, and safety issues promptly

Qualifications

5-10 years experience

as a

Carpenter / Framer / Rough Carpenter

in residential construction Experience with framing older Toronto homes Experience working/supervising full gut interior renovation and additions Strong knowledge of

building codes and structural framing techniques

Proficiency with carpentry and framing tools (saws, nail guns, levels, squares, etc.) Ability to read and understand

construction drawings

Physically fit and able to work in varied weather conditions Valid

driver's license

and reliable transportation in the GTA Having a car is a must for this position Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Compensation

8-9 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
