Skid Steer Operator

Job Description

Reporting to the Foreman, a Skidsteer Operator's duties may vary according to the project at hand, but include digging holes, moving large objects around a construction site, digging trenches, moving dirt or earth, assisting with laying pavement.

Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the packer Understanding of computerized controls and electronics Operate additional heavy equipment as required to support project needs

What You Bring



3+ years of experience in construction industry 2+ years of experience operating a skidsteer Physically able to safely lift and carry 40 lbs regularly Valid Class 5 Operator's License; and Driver's Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions Heavy Civil Construction or labor experience is an asset Willing to travel and work out of town for short, fixed-term periods, as needed
