We are currently seeking a dependable and hard-working individual to join our crew as a

Tractor & Skid-Steer Operator

for the 2025 season.

Position Details:

Shift:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (weather dependent)

Employment Type:

Full-Time, Seasonal

Locations:

Job sites in The Blue Mountains and Markdale

Start Date:

As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

Operate tractor and skid-steer equipment to support grading and excavation work Assist with manual tasks including raking, shoveling, sod repair, and planting large nursery stock trees Maintain a clean and organized work area Represent HLG Land Works with professionalism on-site in newly developed, family-friendly neighbourhoods Work cooperatively with other trades and homeowners Comply with the company's smoke-free policy on job sites, in vehicles, and around equipment

Qualifications:

Prior experience with tractors, skid-steers, or similar equipment is preferred Comfortable with physical labour and outdoor work in variable weather Reliable transportation to job sites is essential Strong work ethic and a team-first attitude Friendly, respectful demeanor when interacting with clients and other trades
