Job Summary


We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Skid Steer & Front-End Loader Operators to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, front-end loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and paving machinery to support various construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure efficient site operations, safety compliance, and high-quality project delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills to make a tangible impact on infrastructure development.

Responsibilities



Operate skid steer loaders and front-end loaders safely and efficiently across multiple construction sites. Handle a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, paving machines, and horizontal drilling equipment as required. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on all machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Assist with site preparation activities such as grading, excavation, material handling, and debris removal. Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Collaborate with project managers and other crew members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance logs. Support additional construction activities including paving operations and water truck management as needed.

Skills



Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment including skid steers, front-end loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, paving machines, and horizontal drilling tools. Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a construction environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in operating dump trucks or similar vehicles is preferred. Knowledge of construction site procedures and safety standards to ensure compliance at all times. Ability to perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on equipment. Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar brands is advantageous. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately while working independently when required.
