At Aryze, we're deeply committed to increasing the quality of housing and communities across Greater Victoria. We know fostering community is about more than simply building homes, which is why we take a thoughtful approach to the built environment in everything we do. One of the most rewarding aspects of our job is seeing families settle into their new homes as projects we've been working on for several years come to completion. After touchpoints across our organization--from development, engagement, accounting, sales and leasing, and of course, construction--we get to see new communities take shape as an outcome of urban design and infill development.
Do you want to watch your community change, or do you want to be the one to shape it?
Because we're hoping you're here for the latter.
Who are we?
We are Aryze.
We are a local Victoria-based group of millennials trying to build homes. We like to think of ourselves as entrepreneurs with an underlying goal of building better communities; this includes building a swim dock with a floating tree in Victoria's Gorge waterway and engaging in Victoria's political conversations. Naturally this expanded to include tackling the mystifying real estate industry, where we see an opportunity to build infill homes in urban areas just outside Victoria's downtown which are in line with our creative and social values. We believe that every neighbourhood should have diverse housing types and tenures for all incomes and demographics. A densified, compact, walkable lifestyle is critical to solving our climate and housing crisis; all while creating more livable and healthier communities.
While we bring a number of innovative infill development projects to market, Aryze's roots are in quality and unique construction. Our focus to build homes with the highest standards of craft, design and efficiency has distinguished our homes from others on the block.
Who are you?
You are a leader that isn't afraid to delegate. You look for new and innovative ways to problem solve. You are the ultimate planner and coordinator and are an excellent communicator. You have a serious passion for construction and people. You believe in integrity and honesty, and understand that the "how" is as important as the "what". Most of all, you want to do it in a place where you're more than an employee number; a place you love working.
Still here? Good. Because if this resonates with you, we'd love to hear about it in your cover letter.
