Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee

multi-residential rental construction projects

from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, and a solid understanding of drawings, schematics, and quality control standards.

Duties

Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope Coordinate and communicate with trades, vendors, and Project Managers to facilitate smooth operations Ensure Trades are performing efficiently Read and interpret various drawing types Ability to develop "Look-ahead" in order to forecast manpower and materials Prepare progress reports and update Project Managers on project status on a daily and weekly basis Oversee quality control procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications Schedule and conduct site inspections with the city as required Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment

Requirements

Minimum 5 years supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction processes Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations in construction sites Thorough understanding of OHSA/Greenbook and building codes (OBC) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and stakeholder engagement Ability to use Google suite (Google Drive, Google Meet) and Microsoft Office Maintain 100% P.P.E compliance rate across the project Certifications: WHMIS, First Aid, Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers Bonus: Access to vehicle, laptop, tools and handyman abilities
