About the Role
We're looking for a full-time Site Supervisor to lead one of our licensed child care sites.
This role blends hands-on program support, team mentorship, and operational oversight. It's a good fit for someone who enjoys variety, values strong relationships, and brings a steady, reflective approach to leadership.
You'll:
Oversee daily site operations and ensure licensing compliance
Coach, mentor, and support educators in their professional growth
Build strong, respectful relationships with families and staff
Collaborate with other Site Supervisors and the Executive Director
Respond to emerging situations with professionalism and sound judgment
What You Bring
Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
Registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
At least 4 years of experience in early learning and 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Familiarity with How Does Learning Happen?and the CCEYA
A calm, balanced leadership style grounded in respect and accountability
Interest in or experience with Indigenous culture, language, and traditions

Full-time hourly position based in Thunder Bay
Hours: 40 per week, with occasional overtime depending on operational needs
Hourly rate: $23.00-$29.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Some early morning, late afternoon, or evening hours may be required
Work may include participation in community and cultural events
Programs use traditional medicines and smudging; comfort working in these environments is required
Requires a clear Vulnerable Sector Check, Standard First Aid & CPR Level C, and up-to-date immunizations
