Overview



We are seeking a

qualified Civil Engineer

to serve as a

Site Supervisor

for ongoing residential and commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will possess

deep technical knowledge of concrete and ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) foundations and walls

, alongside proven skills in coordinating subcontractors, vendors, municipalities, utilities, consultants, and trades throughout the construction and deficiency process.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, scheduling expertise, and the ability to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities



Technical Supervision:

Lead and supervise all site work with particular focus on concrete construction, including

formwork, rebar, pouring, curing

, and

ICF systems

.

Trade Coordination:

Schedule trades and deliveries; ensure sequence of work aligns with timelines, budget, and quality.

Material Oversight:

Inspect and document deliveries; identify and report damage or discrepancies to suppliers and project team.

ICF & Concrete Oversight:

Monitor installation of ICF foundations/walls and ensure they comply with engineering drawings, specifications, and best practices.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce OHSA/MOL guidelines; complete monthly safety reports and electronic SDS documentation.

Deficiency Management:

Attend and resolve site deficiencies noted during inspections; follow through on corrections.

Documentation:

Complete daily logs, track progress, and maintain weekly inspection records.

Site Photography:

Regularly photograph site progress and submit to the project team.

Permit Inspections & Walk-Throughs:

Coordinate and attend inspections; lead deficiency reviews.

Labor Management:

Manage onsite labor and delegate daily tasks to ensure productivity and cleanliness.

Hands-On Support:

Perform light framing, patching (e.g., drywall), and assist with minor deliveries as needed.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and Client in a clear, professional manner.

Education & Qualifications



Education:

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

(required).

Technical Expertise:

In-depth experience with

concrete systems, formwork, rebar, ICF

, and site-level construction supervision.

Language:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

License:

Valid driver's license and personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).

Other:

Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to job site cleanliness and safety.

Salary:

Between $40,000 to $55,000/year Based on the Experience + bonus pay

Expected Hours:

40 per week
