As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dependable Working Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team and help drive the successful completion of our projects.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Working Site Supervisor to join our growing construction team. This position plays a key leadership role in ensuring the successful completion of projects -- from coordinating crews and managing schedules to maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency on-site.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong construction knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring optimal productivity and quality. Work closely with the Project Management Team to develop, maintain, and drive construction schedules to meet project milestones and deadlines. Lead, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors and field employees to ensure all work is completed efficiently and safely. Ensure all work meets approved plans, specifications, design drawings, and applicable building codes. Maintain a daily site log recording attendance, inspections, safety incidents, and job progress. Enforce compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and all company safety policies. Complete and submit project documentation including timesheets, packing slips, inspections, and safety reports. Provide regular progress updates to project managers and key stakeholders. Perform general carpentry, handyman work, and assist with site organization and cleanliness as required. Carry out additional duties as assigned by the project and operations team.
Qualifications

5+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction, specifically mid- to low-rise residential or commercial projects. Proven track record in building mid-rise apartment buildings or managing complex, fast-paced projects. Experience in ICF construction would be an asset Carpentry skills and hands-on construction experience are mandatory. Comprehensive understanding of Building Codes and construction methods. Strong background in scheduling, cost control, value engineering, and risk management. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven. Must be safety-focused with a thorough understanding of OHSA regulations.
Technical Skills

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and schematics. Experience with ICF installation and masonry work considered an asset. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools for various carpentry tasks. Physically capable of performing heavy lifting and manual labor when required.
