Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee a construction project (renovation) from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers to ensure project timelines are met. Review project plans and specifications, ensuring all work aligns with the provided schematics. Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure that all work meets industry standards and project specifications. Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and providing updates on financial status. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore for project tracking and documentation. Assist in construction estimating by providing input on labor costs, materials, and timelines. Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.

Experience

Proven experience in supervising construction projects with a strong understanding of construction management principles. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential for successful execution of duties. Familiarity with budgeting processes and construction estimating techniques is highly desirable. Experience using construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality control throughout all phases of the project.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 44 per week
