Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and technical knowledge of construction processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Supervisor will coordinate daily operations, supervise construction sites and workers, and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety compliance Manage project budgets, track expenses, and assist with construction estimating as needed Monitor progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining safety protocols Lead and supervise construction activities, subcontractors, and vendors on-site Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety standards are met and work is performed according to specifications Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve issues promptly

Skills

Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of site operations Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimates accurately Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations on construction sites Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Effective communication skills for liaising with team members, clients, and stakeholders Knowledge of budgeting processes related to construction projects Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and schematics interpretation
