The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and safety regulations. The Site Supervisor will coordinate with various teams, manage resources, and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
Duties
Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.
Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the project.
Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
Manage subcontractors and labor teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
Prepare construction estimates and assist in budgeting processes for upcoming projects.
Skills
Proficient in construction management software (e.g., ProCore, Bluebeam).
Strong ability in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
Experience in budgeting and financial management within a construction context.
Knowledge of quality control processes to ensure project standards are met.
