Position: Cleaning Lead (Commercial Kitchen Facility Cleaner)
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Lead to take ownership of the overall cleanliness and sanitation of our commercial kitchen facility. Primary Focus: Facility Cleanliness & Sanitation
Lead and execute the cleaning and sanitation of all facility areas, including kitchens, floors, walls, drains, vents, ceiling fans, HVAC intakes, restrooms, and common areas.
Maintain cleaning logs and checklists; ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are completed to standard.
Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Perform deep-cleaning tasks such as power-washing, degreasing, and scrubbing hard-to-reach areas on a regular schedule.
Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify management when restocking is needed.
General Maintenance Responsibilities
Conduct routine facility walkthroughs and identify cleanliness issues, safety hazards, or maintenance needs.
Support basic facility upkeep tasks such as minor painting, patching drywall, and light landscaping.
Assist with minor plumbing tasks (e.g., unclogging drains, replacing faucet fixtures).
Document and report any maintenance work completed or required.
Assist with transportation and light assembly of kitchen equipment, when necessary.
Team Management Responsibilities
? Assignment of daily tasks i.e cleaning, and general checks of the building.
Cleaning check lists, and continued follow up for tasks assigned.

assist in food running and order transportation while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards.
Check in with customers and kitchen partners to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
Minimum commitment of 20-40 hours per week; flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.
1-2 years of experience in facility cleaning, janitorial services, or commercial kitchen sanitation.
Familiarity with sanitation regulations and procedures related to food service operations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Comfortable with physical work -- lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to operate cleaning tools and equipment safely (e.g., power washers, floor scrubbers).
Friendly and professional communication style; able to interact with team members, vendors, and partners.
Strong attention to detail, initiative, and a sense of ownership over your work.
? Physically able to work outdoors for long periods of time, climb ladders, traverse roof spaces, and bend or crawl into awkward spaces.
? Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
? Strong organizational skills and time management while working independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
