Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee a construction project in Drayton Valley. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management practices. Must be very familiar with earth works and surveying. This role requires effective communication with team members, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Concrete piles, foundations, concrete forming & framing, install 3 modular units, wood framing.

Must be willing to work out of town. Mon-Friday 8 - 10 hour days.

Duties

Conduct daily safety/toolbox meetings, fill out daily FLHA's. Conduct Site Inspections, PPE Inspections. Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Oversee the work of subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed. Will be very small crew. Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure adherence to blueprints, schematics, and quality control standards. Manage project budgets, including estimating costs and tracking expenditures. Submit timesheets. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers regarding contracts and project progress. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of project scheduling and budgeting. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction sites. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively. Previous supervisory experience in a construction setting is an asset. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 11 per week
