Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Site Superintendent with a minimum of 3 years hands on experience. This role requires a strong background in construction.
Main Responsibilities
Oversee daily construction activities
Make sure crews are working safely and efficiently, and that work is done according to plans.
Manage subcontractors and trades
Coordinate who is on site each day and ensure they have what they need.
Ensure safety compliance
Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and enforce safety protocols. Plan the sequence of tasks so the project stays on track.
Check that the work meets building codes, drawings, and specifications.
Report progress, issues, delays, and needs
Daily logs, incident reports, deliveries, timesheets, etc.
Schedule work
Quality control
Communicate with project managers
Handle site paperwork
Experience
Proven experience in construction Strong skills in carpentry, woodworking, flooring installation, and roofing Familiarity with construction estimating processes will be an advantage. Experience in restoration and remediation projects is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
