The Site Supervisor maximizes the results from limited resources of manpower, material, tools and equipment while maintaining strong leadership qualities and promoting a productive and safety orientated culture. Responsible for overseeing and managing the piling install crews and ensuring all customer requirements are met.
DUTIES:
Execute construction activities in accordance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, procedures, quality standards, work practices and procedures
Ensure install personnel are adequately trained, developed and coached in a constructive manner on an ongoing basis
Complete the daily duties of project administration; including daily logs, LEM sheets, daily welder reports, inspection reports, safety documentation and all customer specific documents as required
Monitor productivity of installation crews and implement action plans to maximize productivity
Provide constructive criticism and complete performance appraisals in real time to field crews, specifically being proactive in correcting underachieving crews
Participate in field visits, site and office kick-off meetings, progress meetings, site audits of pile install crews and subcontractors, and provide support and direction to all observed activities. Create an inclusive environment where field staff feel part of the overall Roterra team
Coordinate with the Construction Scheduler to ensure effective and timely execution of projects
Monitor all scope changes (requested or required) to ensure changes are quickly and properly documented and that change orders are approved prior to the performance of work and ensure all additional services and products are signed off at the field level (LEM documentation)
Review and complete all relevant paperwork pertaining to customer invoicing, safety, quality assurance, and employee timesheets
Manage the commitments of sub-contractors, including cost, quality and schedule
Maintain quality of the pile installation projects in accordance with the specifications in the design documents
Act as a liaison between the field staff, management and customers to effectively deliver pile driving services

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years of civil construction experience
5+ years in an on-site project supervisor role
5+ years of experience leading a team of 5+ employees
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma
CSTS 2020 Certification. Other safety certifications considered an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of piling industry processes, procedures and best practices considered an asset
