Adecco is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Site Superintendent to oversee our client\'s ICI construction projects. Our client is Canada\'s one of top general contracting companies based out of Calgary.

Our client, one of Calgary\'s top general contracting companies, is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee their ICI (Commercial, Institutional) construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from site preparation through to project close-out.

The Site Superintendent will work closely with the Project Manager, Estimator, and other members of the construction team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our dynamic team in Calgary. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of commercial and institutional construction projects from start to finish. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Manage and lead on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.

Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project timelines, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving and addressing any challenges that may arise.

Oversee all aspects of site safety, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company safety policies.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Provide regular project updates to the project team and management, highlighting any issues or risks.

Implement and enforce project plans, specifications, and quality standards.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment on-site, promoting teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7-10 of experience as a Site Superintendent in commercial and institutional construction projects.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.

Proven track record of successfully managing and completing projects on time and within budget.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

Bachelor\'s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field (preferred).

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Gold Seal Certification) would be an asset.
