Waterproofing Site Superintendent

Position:

United Roofing Inc is looking to hire a full-time Waterproofing Superintendent for our office in Calgary. The overall task is to perform inspections on all the job sites and manage all aspects of the company's activities. Our overall operation involves, roofing, traffic coating and waterproofing throughout the Calgary area. The typical working hours required are from 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday workload.

Job description:

• Coordinate and supervise the work of multiple waterproofing crew.
• Make sure that all work is completed according to project plans, specifications, quality standards, and budgets.
• Building project binder, including PO, spec, etc.
• Ensure a good communication with the on-site General Contractor.
• Handle the day-to-day activities on job sites.
• Perform weekly inspection on job site on waterproofing scope.
• Complete daily inspection.
• Attend pre-start and production meetings.
• Attend pre-start and final inspection walkthrough with client/ consultant.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of building envelope detailing and general scope of work.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, construction estimating, schematics, and quality control.
• Preferably minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role - project management in construction preferred.
• Experience in commercial construction.
• High computer skill and formatting of document.
• Be fit to climb ladder on a daily basis and not afraid of heights.
• Good communication skills and excellent leadership.
• Ability to work with tight delays, effectively manage resources and personnel.
• Safety tickets: Fall Protection, CSTS, Confined Space, and 1st aid. - Training can/will be provided for the hired candidate, in the course of employment.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
