About our clientAn established ICI General Contractor in Edmonton major multi-million dollar projects in healthcare, education & workspaces, They have carved out a niche for themselves in the Institutional space and have been delivering projects for 40 years. They have loyal staff who are currently retiring and are looking to build up their roster.About the roleJoining the team as a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day to day construction activities on a high rise project which includes:Assuring projects are completed according to design and specifications meeting deadlines and budgetsEnsure health & safety on siteCreating progress reports throughout the project for key stakeholdersCommunicating with site staff and creating schedulesCoordinating all relevant inspectionsLocationEdmontonSalaryFrom $110,000-$130,000 (Based on experience) plus vehicle allowance & benefitsQualificationsMust have multiple years of experience working in the ICI environment as a Site Superintendent with preference on Institutional projects such as schools, universities & hospitals. Experience specifically with schools is preferred. Strong experience in scheduling is required, as is supervising trades, evaluating labor requirements, attention to detail and ability to prioritise and problem solve to ensure deadlines are met and production continues.
