Our vision is to create a culture where inclusion is the goal, and a diverse and representative workforce is our measure of success.The RoleReporting to the services supervisor, you will be responsible for general labor duties and operating a variety of mobile equipment to maintain the site facilities, roads, and airport in a safe, sustainable, and environmentally effective manner.In this role, you will:

  • Bus and luggage services
  • Site road maintenance (snow clearing and sanding)
  • Airport runway and apron maintenance
  • Vacuum truck waste disposal
  • Water truck service
Required:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience
  • Experience on dozer, grader, 966 and 988 loaders, track hoe, scraper, vacuum truck and 50-ton rock truck
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Must hold a valid Class 2 driver\'s license
  • Must have completed SAT equipment training modules
  • Ability and willingness to perform manual labour as required for this position
  • Excellent reading, writing and communication skills are essential
  • Mechanically inclined (knowledge of equipment and hand tools)
  • Safety-oriented team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be proficient with using computers, including the Microsoft Office suite and mobile technology
  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Asset:
  • Class 3A or 1A driver\'s license
  • Tandem vacuum and water truck experience
  • Passenger bus experience

Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.The physical and psychological safety of our employee\'s is a top priority at Cameco.
