Primary Purpose of Position
This position is temporary for a 2 week period with the possibility of being transferred to another project.
Reporting to the HSE Superintendent, the Site Safety Officer (NCSO) will be responsible for facilitating compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines, evaluate and monitor health and safety hazards and develop strategies to control risks on site. The main goal will be to always ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents.
This position is located at a Northern Saskatchewan mine site. Shift rotation is 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and complete the required training prior to going to site.
