We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as Site Manager at a Condo property in Winnipeg. The Site Manager is expected to ensure the building is clean at all times, check for proper operation of the building systems (ie:boiler, air conditioner, gym, etc.).

Respond to incidents of emergency nature and keep Management informed of significant occurrences in the building in a timely manner.

Duties include but are not limited to:

To keep the building clean. Vacuum, mop vestibules and hallways daily. Regular cleaning of the garbage and recycle room Move garbage and recycling bins outside weekly Provide a friendly, non-threatening, approachable environment whereby all owners and tenants will feel comfortable and safe. Provide security and surveillance to the premises. Lock and unlock common room/exercise room/library in morning. Assist contractors and trades with access and information. Offer assistance, as required, to owner/tenants. Maintain key safe with up-to-date information and assist residents with emergency lockouts. Communicate faulty equipment or need of supplies to trades. Assist with Lounge Booking. This includes readiness of room and inspection with renter before and after event. Cleaning of the lounge. Perform uncomplicated repairs and inform Management of need for work orders for issues beyond your scope. Maintain properly functioning cleaning equipment. Other duties as assigned
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

A few years' experience as a Caretaker or Assistant Caretaker Highly organized and team oriented Able to work independently with minimal direction Able to deal with difficult people and situations Above average written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service skills Must have the ability to work extended hours as necessary to complete job duties Valid Manitoba Driver's License an asset A clear Criminal Record Check is required
Physically able to perform all aspects of the position including:

Lifting equipment up to 40 lbs. Standing for extended periods of time Climbing ladders
Hours are Monday to Friday 8 am-3 pm.
