OUR VISION FOR THIS ROLE:
JUMP! Canada is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Manager to oversee all aspects of our camp infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our summer programs by maintaining a safe, reliable, and well-equipped site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all daily site maintenance including but not limited to:
Cutting and splitting firewood, pest control, irrigation and mowing, garbage and recycling collection and disposal, outhouse cleaning and maintenance, building maintenance and repairs, grounds maintenance (including fence repairs), site set up and take down (including low ropes course), refilling propane.
Vehicle detailing inside and out, trailer maintenance.
Propane appliance, water pump, generator, chain saw, power tools and riding mower maintenance.
Assist program staff with program set up/take down as needed.
Solar power system set up/take down and operations.
Specific site improvement and construction projects as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment maintenance and repair (vehicles, generators, plumbing).
Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
Commitment to safety and a strong understanding of safety protocols in a camp setting.
Valid Class 4 driver's license (or willingness to obtain one).
Experience with solar power systems and internet installation is preferred.
Experience working in an environment with youth.
Occupational First Aid Level 1 or Standard First Aid.
Familiarity and experience in remote wilderness living.

Leave benefits:

Remote Base Camp Living: As a program staff member, you will live and work on-site at our beautiful, remote base camp, located 20 kilometers west of 100 Mile House in the Cariboo region of British Columbia.
