Site Foreman
to support our project teams and ensure the efficient, safe, and high?quality execution of our builds.
About the Role
The Site Foreman plays a crucial role in daily on?site operations, supporting Project Managers, coordinating trades, maintaining jobsite productivity, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and thrives in a dynamic construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Support
Work closely under the direction of assigned Project Managers.
Assist with site setup, daily preparation, and end?of?day cleanup.
Perform hands?on tasks including basic carpentry, demolition, site prep, and general labor.
Site Responsibilities & Coordination
Organize, maintain, and secure tools, materials, and equipment.
Safely and effectively operate hand and power tools.
Communicate and coordinate with trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow.
Logistics & Scheduling
Assist in scheduling and coordinating deliveries, inspections, and site activities.
Monitor daily progress and promptly report issues, delays, or discrepancies to the Project Manager.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce and follow all OH&S regulations and William Blake Homes safety guidelines.
Maintain safety documentation, signage, and stations on site.
Conduct site safety orientations and ensure all team members follow established protocols.
Identify potential hazards and take proactive steps to correct or escalate them.
Opening & Closing Projects
Carry out all pre?build and post?build procedures.
Manage utility shutoffs, neighbor notifications, deficiency lists, and warranty package preparation.
Support post?build client follow?up as required.
Professional Conduct & Company Representation
Professionally represent William Blake Homes at all times.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Wear branded apparel and ensure proper company representation on vehicles.
Qualifications
Previous onsite construction experience (preferably in residential custom homes).
Minimum 5 years experience working with tools for repairing all aspects of the home;
Ability to operate tools and equipment safely.
Solid understanding of construction site safety practices.
Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Strong customer service background and positive attitude;
Strong communication and negotiation skills both verbal and written;
Highly organized;
Team oriented individual;
