ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client, a subcontractor with 40+ years experience in the market specializing in tiling from high end single family residential homes to multi-family residential and commercial projects. Working with some of Vancouver\xe2\x80\x99s largest developers and general contractors expect to work on projects for the likes of Ellis Don, PCL & Ledcor with projects varying between $1m- $15m.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

If you are a Project Coordinator from a developer or sub-contractor from variety of industries, this could be a great fit. As part of a well established team, you will contribute to the company\'s growing portfolio of projects by applying your on site coordinating experience. This is a site based role on one of Vancouver\'s largest construction projects.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Project Coordinator, you will be working closely with the Senior Project Coordinator, Foreman, Project Manager and Foremen on site. You will report daily to the Senior Project Coordinator.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Performs administrative and recordkeeping including: meeting minutes, the tracking of project milestones and the maintenance of files, logs, drawings and specifications.
• Asist the tracking and reporting of project milestones and financial deadlines.
• Keeping track of material flow on site.
• Communicating with the general contractor to book in deliveries on site.
• Maintaining equipment on site.
• Scheduling for foremen on site.
• Documenting progress on site daily.
• Aid the Controller with the entry of AP and AR documentation.
• Prepare purchase orders for approval and help with procurement
• Communicate project status to all stakeholders.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 1-3 years experience as project coordinator
• Construction related education an asset.
• Strong Excel, Word and computer skills
• Blueprint reading

COMPENSATION

• $65,000-$75,000 per annum
• 2-3 weeks vacation
• Extended medical and dental coverage
• Profit sharing based on company and individual performance
