J.D. Irving, Limited, Woodlands Division is currently seeking a motivated individual for the role of Silviculture Supervisor.

Located in Sussex, New Brunswick, this is a great opportunity to join the organization and make a significant impact. We are looking for a self-motivated leader with a strong sense of initiative and ability to manage change and high performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working in the field
• Meeting safety, quality and environmental standards
• Meeting daily and weekly production requirements
• Performance management of a group of contractors & employees
• Identifying opportunities for productivity improvement

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Forestry, Engineering or related fields from a recognized institution would be considered an asset
• Previous supervisory experience and relevant forestry/work experience would be considered an asset
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
• Desire to work in the field of Forest Management
