Job Description

Role Summary:

As a Warehouse Associate, you'll be an essential part of the Silver Cove operations team, ensuring that inventory is organized, prepared, and distributed efficiently. This position involves working with a variety of crystal and mineral products, assisting with shipping and receiving, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting the setup and teardown of Rock N' Gem Shows when required.

Responsibilities:

Receive, unpack, and organize incoming shipments. Accurately label, price, store, and track inventory items. Prepare and package outgoing orders for retail, wholesale, and show shipments. Work directly with Keystone clients, ensuring orders are filled accurately and professionally. Create invoices and process payments for client and wholesale transactions. Assist with loading and unloading trucks Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse space. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts Communicate inventory needs or discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager. Support other Silver Cove departments as needed for show prep and product movement.

Skills & Qualifications

Class 5 or higher driver's license Forklift operation certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs Experience operating equipment such as a forklift and backhoe Strong organizational and communication skills Familiarity with POS systems and Excel-based inventory tracking Experience with retail or warehouse software Customer service skills with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset Ability to multitask in a self-starting environment Strong attention to detail and safety Interest in rocks, minerals, and fossils with a willingness to learn

Physical demands/working conditions

o Lifting and moving up to 40 lbs unassisted

o Frequent standing, walking, bending, and operating equipment

o Working both indoors and outdoors in changing weather

o Shared accommodations when traveling (if required)

o Performing yardwork duties: mowing, weeding, general site upkeep

o Adherence to safety protocols during all equipment and material handling
