The GO Expansion scope: new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, and much more.ObjectivePrepares in BIM environment the Mainline and Urban (M&U) Signaling Installation Engineering (IE) models in support of one or several Bid/Projects, applying the guidelines established by the BIM team and under the supervision of SIG BIM CoordinatorEnsure capability in designing and modifying 3D objects in the adequate software used/required by technical environment (Revit, AECOsim, AutoCAD, Microstation, Navisworks)Ensure the application of EHS policies, local regulations, and professional standardsResponsibilities

• Produce the deliverables under the responsibility of the Sig BIM Coordinator

• Use dedicated tools, procedures, and templates for design development of BIM models
• Prepare models and drawings packages for submission
• Prepare reports and schedules for internal use (exports from Revit)

• Contribute to prepare the design under the responsibility of the System BIM Manager and/or Sig BIM Coordinator

• Produce drawings and BIM models consistent with instruction, guidelines, and CAD/BIM standards
• Generate BIM models with dedicated tools (Revit MEP)
• Draft/generate plans, diagrams, and schedule in Revit and/or AutoCAD drawings

• Support the BIM Manager and/or Sig BIM Coordinator in the completion of Subsystem Component Library,
• Assist the BIM Coordinator in checking the deliverables as part of the Sig / System technical validation
• Provide design assistance to IE Designers and Engineers
• Attend to training sessions set up at team level and project level
• Ensure application of D&IS Installation and FO Process for IE activities

Performance measurements

• Assist the Design BIM Coordinator in keeping up to date the list of BIM models and their status
• Contribute the enforcement of good practices within the design team
• Assist the Design BIM Coordinator in reporting of design development to the BIM Manager

Education & ExperienceHigh school Diploma or technical diploma or equivalent educationBIM and/or Autocad CertificationKnowledge of Revit, Navisworks and ProjectWise preferred3+ year\'s production experience in design, drafting or engineering (Project and/or construction experience appreciated)Very good knowledge of Autocad and ExcelVery good knowledge of BIM procedures and toolsBasic knowledge of Railway products and services knowledge on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M) desirableQuality-focused, rigorous, team-playerDecision-making and problem-solving abilityResilience, with an analytic way of thinking in order to solve complex coordination issuesYou don\'t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
