All candidates will go through either part-time or full-time Basic Military Qualification, as well as full-time Signal Operator training at a Canadian Forces Training Centre. Signal Operators provide fast, reliable, wireless communication and information systems using voice and data systems. They are also part of a larger team that supports Army units and the Canadian Armed Forces with communication and information services throughout Canada and around the world. Our Signal Operators have the opportunity to work with a variety of other army units including infantry, artillery, and armoured, providing communications capabilities in the field.
