POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for Sign Shop Technicians (this is part-time, and seasonal) to join our production team! This is a great opportunity for students who want to build real, hands-on skills while balancing their school commitments.
As a Sign Shop Technician, you'll help create standard and custom traffic signs, from preparing materials to applying vinyl and digital graphics. You'll gain experience working with equipment, managing inventory, and producing quality products that keep communities safe.

TRAINING PERIOD
We want you to feel confident in your role. To get started, you'll complete an initial training period over a few days during our regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). After training, we'll work with you to set a schedule that fits around your classes and exams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare vinyl and digitally printed materials for application.
Prepare substrates and complete finishing tasks.
Assist in quality control and production.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment (training provided).
Track stock and materials.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Keep a clean and safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Dependable, reliable, and willing to learn.
Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs, standing for extended periods, and handling tools.
General computer skills (spreadsheets, Google Docs, data entry).
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to balance speed and quality.
A positive attitude and interest in hands-on work.
HOURS OF WORK
Training: Weekdays, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (short-term).
After training: Flexible hours available (early mornings, evenings, or daytime shifts).
