Overview

VOS Signage is an established, successful, growing, fast-paced, commercial custom signs manufacturer and installation company since 1971. We are looking for an Experienced Commercial Sign Installer and fabricator. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the installation of various types of signs in Edmonton and surrounding areas, interior and exterior, vinyl window graphics and wall murals. This will involve driving to various locations in and outside of Edmonton. Lifts, power tools, and other equipment will be required to complete the work.

Responsibilities

Review projects and prepare tools for installation Drive company vehicles to installation sites Install signs and vinyl graphics safely and efficiently Communicate with co-workers and customers regarding sign installations Comply with all company and site required safety processes and procedures Occasionally travel outside of Edmonton for installations Assist as needed in other areas of production

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience in installation or a related field is preferred (Channel Letters, Cabinets, Aluminum Sign Box, Backlit signs, Architectural Letter, Indoor Reception Signs, Vinyl Decals, Wall Murals, Window Graphics) Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics Comfortable working from heights Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Able to operate Bucket Truck Able to work outdoors with occasional availability for weekend and evening work Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Troubleshoot problems as they arise Positive attitude with good communication skills Experience working with hand and power tools Basic understanding of measurements and material handling Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
Starting Salary:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour

. Salary based on experience and may increase after probationary period.
