Job Summary

Calibre Signs, a trusted name in signage manufacturing for over 30 years, is seeking an experienced

Sign Fabricator

to join our team. This position will start part-time with the opportunity to transition to full-time. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of sign fabrication experience, a strong work ethic, and is comfortable working with various fabrication tools and techniques.

Responsibilities and Duties

Fabricate a wide range of signage, including channel letters, illuminated sign boxes, pylons, acrylic, flex face signs, and awnings. Work from fabrication drawings and production schedules to complete jobs on time. Safely operate equipment such as power tools, drill press, brake, shear, saws, CNC router, and ACCU-Bend. Perform LED wiring, fitting, and assembly of signage components. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Assist with general maintenance and other department duties as required. Follow company policies, health & safety standards, and quality control guidelines. Meet customer deadlines, including occasional overtime when needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum

2 years of experience

in sign manufacturing/fabrication (required). High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Ability to read and interpret signage blueprints/drawings. Strong communication skills; fluent in English. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a fabrication shop. Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision. Strong work ethic, reliable, and detail-oriented. Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract are considered assets. Additional skills such as

welding

or other certifications are an asset.
