Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various building components, fixtures, and systems with precision and professionalism. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Installer will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions to ensure accurate execution of projects Use hand tools and power tools to install fixtures, cabinetry, drywall, flooring, or other building components Perform carpentry tasks including cutting, measuring, and fitting materials as specified in project plans Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing of installations Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support installation activities Collaborate with team members and project managers to coordinate installation schedules and troubleshoot issues on-site Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Follow all safety protocols and adhere to building codes throughout the installation process

Requirements

Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or maintenance person roles with a strong focus on installation work Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading is essential Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more) as required by project demands Knowledge of caulking techniques and sealing methods for various materials Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Prior experience with blueprint reading is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
