Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Hardie siding installer. This role involves performing various construction and maintenance tasks, utilizing hand tools and equipment to ensure high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and general construction, with a strong ability to read blueprints and execute projects efficiently.
Duties
Utilize hand tools and power tools for siding installation Perform siding installation, general carpentry and scaffolding set up. Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper weatherproofing Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as needed for various projects Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and tools to ensure safety and functionality Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction and carpentry skills Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools Ability to read blueprints accurately Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team A positive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques in the trade
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
