Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Siding Cut Person to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately cutting and preparing siding materials for installation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction practices, particularly in siding applications, and will be comfortable working with various hand tools. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Work with rainscreen and be able to install strapping when needed

Responsibilities

Measure and cut siding materials according to project specifications and blueprints. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to ensure precise cuts. Collaborate with the installation team to ensure timely delivery of prepared materials. Perform quality checks on cut materials to maintain high standards of workmanship. Assist in loading and unloading siding materials as needed, which may involve heavy lifting. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while on the job site.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or carpentry, with a focus on siding preferred. Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to siding installation. Strong physical stamina, capable of heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Experience with caulking techniques is a plus. A maintenance person background is beneficial, showcasing versatility in construction tasks. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
