Job Description

We are looking for a full-time general/construction labourer to join our construction team. As a member of the team, your primary responsibility will be to help complete a variety of tasks throughout the building process.

As a Construction Labourer at Baydo you will but are not limited to:

Cut, shape, and join materials as needed Assist in forming, bracing, placing rebar, concrete placement Assist in demolition work, dirt removal, material moving Assist in erecting scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level Assist in any other related duties as assigned Assist in general site maintenance, housekeeping, dewatering as required Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the Foreman and Safety Manager.
General Requirements:

Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction materials; Ability to keep up in a fast paced environment; Must be reliable and able to work well with a crew or independently; Must be able to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions; Require good manual dexterity and coordination. The employee must have excellent stamina; Must reside and be legal to work full-time in Canada.
Compensation will vary depending on the qualifications and experience of the individual.

Any tickets or certificates will be seen as bonus (ie. SCOT, First Aid Training, WHIMIS, TDG). Please include your resume with references and copies of any relevant non-expired certificates.
