Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window and siding Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of various types of windows in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Install windows and siding according to specifications and building codes, ensuring a secure and weather-tight fit. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine installation requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, fitting, and securing window frames. Perform caulking and sealing to prevent air and water leaks around installed windows. Conduct site assessments to prepare for installations, including measuring openings and assessing structural integrity. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and general contractors, to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist with heavy lifting as needed during the installation process.

Requirements

Proven experience in window or siding installation or related construction fields is preferred. Proficiency in blueprint reading is essential for accurate installations. Familiarity with caulking techniques and materials is highly desirable. Background in carpentry or maintenance person services is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required during installations. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others on job sites. Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
