Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sider to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in siding installation and a strong understanding of carpentry and construction principles. As a Sider, you will be responsible for applying siding materials to residential and commercial buildings, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install various types of siding materials including vinyl, wood, and fiber cement according to project specifications. Working with vinyl and metal siding a must Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing siding components. Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure weatherproofing of installations. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure safety compliance and cleanliness. Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials as needed throughout the project.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction or carpentry, with a focus on siding installation preferred. Working with vinyl and metal siding a must Need to be able to work alone at job site with no supervision Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Strong maintenance person skills with a problem-solving mindset. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication skills
