Shuttle Driver
Job Description
Shuttle drivers are responsible for safely transporting clients and providing superior service. Drivers must have good communication skills both oral and written to interact with fellow drivers, maintenance, the operations team as well as the public they serve. Commitment, patience, maturity, and initiative are required qualities
1. Drive safely, responsibly and be prepared for all road conditions
2. Respect fellow employees, equipment and customers
3. Ensure compliance with the “Hours of Service” requirements
4. Pre and post trip checks of the unit each time it is used (emphasis on ensuring adequate fluid levels)
5. Complete all applicable paper work required
6. Maintain radio contact and use proper radio protocol
7. Manage passenger behavior by quickly and effectively solving problems
8. Communicate with dispatch at your scheduled time, prepared and ready to go.
REQUIREMENTS
- Class 4 drivers license
- Able to load and drive
- Excellent driving skills and habits
- Clean driving record
