Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Supervisor, the Shuttle Driver is responsible for safe transportation of hospital staff between parking lot and entrance of the building. This position will be based in Kitchener.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Immediately reports to dispatch any injuries, collisions or property damage that occurs
• Maintains Hours of Service Logbooks and other appropriate paperwork in a timely manner
• Ensures that safe work practices are being followed, and report and infractions to the Supervisor
• Performs a circle check to company specification prior to starting a shift. Follows procedures and complete related paperwork for reporting mechanical defects
• Develops and maintains a positive working relationship and team approach with customers, co-workers and supervisors

Shift: Monday to Friday - split-shift

Requirements

The ideal candidate will posses the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

- F/E/B class license (or willingness to upgrade)

- Displaying safe and defensive driving techniques

- Ability to work independently

- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
