JOB OVERVIEW The Shuttle Driver position works out of the Dawson Downtown Hotel. As a shuttle driver, you must possess a Yukon Territory Motor Vehicle Operator\'s Class 4 License and maintain a clean driver\'s abstract. Your main responsibility in this role will be to transport guests to and from the hotel and the airport, with occasional transportation required within city limits. It is crucial to provide a safe and clean environment for all passengers during transportation. Responsibilities

• Provide shuttle service to and from the airport.
• Greet guests upon pick-up and assist with loading luggage into the vehicle.
• Advise guests about our properties and amenities during the journey from the airport to the hotel.
• Monitor the approved hotel software scheduling system to ensure adequate transportation for guests, arranging for extra pickups if necessary in the case of shuttle overbooking situations.
• Assist with bringing luggage into the lobby upon drop-off at the hotel.
• Conduct a circle check of the vehicle before each shift.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date shuttle logs.
• Clean the shuttle vehicle daily, both the interior and exterior.
• Ensure the vehicle is fueled or charged as required.
• Follow traffic regulations and adhere to safety procedures when operating the shuttle.
• Assist with potential hotel errands within city limits, as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe lobby and general entrance area for guests, as needed.
• Responsible for keeping the workspace clean.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests with a smile.
• Provide information about the guest\'s destined hotel.
• Answer inquiries, offer suggestions, and provide descriptions of activities, attractions, and amenities in the city, including trips, excursions, sports events, concerts, restaurants, and more.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
• May be required to move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for an entire shift.
• May involve bending, twisting, and pulling.
